Crispy Garlic Chicken with Asparagus: A Quick Family Favorite
Crispy Garlic Chicken paired with tender asparagus is a delightful meal that can be prepared in just 30 minutes. This dish has quickly become a beloved favorite in our household!
Asparagus is a staple in our family meals. If you’re looking for more ways to enjoy this nutritious vegetable, consider trying Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus, Roasted Lemon Parmesan Asparagus, or Parmesan Herb Asparagus Fries.
I’ve officially embraced my role as a dance mom! Last week was my daughter’s dance recital, and I had to navigate the ins and outs of what’s needed for such events. I learned the hard way that little performers require full makeup for their pictures—who knew? It was quite the experience putting makeup on my three-year-old! Watching her perform was an absolute joy; she followed along while adding her own flair to the routine. We had an amazing time cheering her on, and I hope I can handle this new adventure without going too overboard as a dance mom!
Before her performance, we enjoyed this crispy garlic chicken together—a meal that never fails to please everyone at the table. The best part? It’s ready in just half an hour!
How to Make Pan-Fried Chicken
To achieve perfectly fried chicken in a pan, start by preparing your breading so it adheres well during cooking. First, dip each piece of chicken into melted butter before coating it with your breadcrumb mixture. Heat two tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy—resist flipping too soon to ensure that perfect crunch!
Cooking Fresh Asparagus on the Stove
Once your chicken is cooked through and set aside on a plate, return two tablespoons of butter back into the skillet along with minced garlic for flavoring. Add chopped asparagus pieces and sauté them until they’re tender—this should take around 10 minutes.
This dish consistently earns rave reviews from my family thanks to its buttery crispy coating combined with fresh asparagus—a complete meal featuring both protein and veggies! We love serving it alongside rice or crusty baguette slices.
I’m confident your family will enjoy this recipe just as much as ours does!
