A: Steph is passionate about food and all things cute. She’s the creative force behind our recipes, as well as the voice of our blog and a talented b-roll photographer. Plus, she’s Mike’s one true love!

A: Mike is our photography guru and lighting specialist, serving as the chief taste-tester. He also happens to be Steph’s one true love.

A: Most of the time, it’s Mike behind the camera; however, occasionally Steph joins in on the fun!
Q: What lenses do you use for photography? A: We typically alternate between three lenses: 35mm f/1.8, 20mm f/1.8, and 85mm f/1.8.
Q: Do you primarily use natural light for your photos? A: The majority—about 98%—of our images are captured using artificial lighting with an SB500 that we absolutely adore! The remaining 2% consists of travel shots taken in natural light.

- Steph: I believe in creating simple yet delicious dishes that feature honest ingredients without unnecessary fussiness. I enjoy blending various flavors together; some standout recipes include Crab Rangoon Deviled Eggs, Banh Mi Tacos, Okonomiyaki Burgers, and Mac and Cheese Pie—all infused with delightful Asian flavors inspired by nostalgia.
